Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

One of the worst organisations to work where talent is measured indirectly proportional to the salary. Less your salary, more talented you are. They can compare you with the gatekeeper too without any logical reasons and demand at least 12 hours of work everyday. They may ask you to leave home at 5 am and go back after 9 pm without giving any over-time payment. For them, SOPs and ethics have no value while they give more importance to truck drivers who are always late in delivering goods. There are so many flaws which can't be explained. Everyday they cancel old policies and create new ones and policies are created by sharing blogs written online. There is no legal framework for policies and ask admin people to makes sales....Read More
