It's good to gain initial experience.

Dislikes

Management uses profanity on the floor to the employees be it supervisor or associate. They pressurized employee to do overtime without any extra payment. They don't show mercy to the associates if they are unwell. One can never get promotion or will be selected through IJP cause only politics and favorism works here.

The employees of the voice process were amazing even though the management was pathetic!

Dislikes

The non voice process was the worst place to work! Employees were all mostly uneducated and not qualified for the job and were mostly localities, getting along with them is a hideous task.

Senior Management tries a lot to understand and fix issues.

Managers in project are biased. Deliberately distributes job wrongly on Team Leaders without doing their own job. Team Leaders here has very less opportunities to learn or upgrade themselves as throughout the day they only need to audit ( QA job ), followup of completion of different modules and PKT ( Trainers job ). They don't get feasible opportunities to create connect with Team members or conduct planned session for performance management or review people even after spending more than 10 hrs in office due to wrong distribution of job. Managers behaviors are highly unprofessional as they don't have ability to plan things and utilize the supporting department of Training and Quality for proper output resulting to high-level dissatisfied TLs and Associates. It's a good company, however in this company due to process ramdown, there's a lack of job security & due to the same reason massive layoffs are happening frequently where employees needs to suffer.

Yes, so much politics and no respect for hard working agent as of only the Tl and higher authority people are running without agent, slave is the word that can be used where you will be told 2 and half will be your on induction but can't accommodate once you joint the floor. No tissue paper, no toi*et paper, Locker is not available for the employees to keep their belongings, No place to keep the bag, No celebration of Festival, No decoration on National holidays. People calls Startek as MNC but it is not, neither the work environment nor the people of Startek. Managers don't know how to speak and they call themselves "Manager".
