Hey, So I worked with standard chartered for 2 years and that was at the beginning of my career. As a fresher I was new to the corporate ambiance and work place, but the moment I step into standard chartered everything seems to be really cool. yes, there are certain boundaries like every big companies have but still you can have your own fun and good time in terms of learning and atmosphere. I had a very cool team , especially Mr. cool manager. The training team was too good, and there is 100% job security and growth. About salary and incentives, yes according to the position and the work we do , we get paid well and in fairly. Of course there will be politics, but if you are really good at your attitude and work, then its really easy to break those politics. Work environment is really cool, but still you will not be comfortable with the coffee and food, but yes there are lot more happening in the office which is actually cool. Co-workers seem approachable. Salary benefits are good as well. Learning opportunities are immense.

Work Life balance is the main drawback. extending beyond normal work hours almost everyday has become norm. Reason for this seems to be immense work load beyond one's capacity. Also Work pressure is constant.
