Work Life Balance is usually good in Siemens, but in our sub-segment was kind of startup, so its not that great Planned work I got to work on cutting edge technologies, depends on project to project

If you are coming from a industrial automation domain background to domain testing then there is no much skill development here. 10 years experience person is working on the same thing where 2 years experience person is working. If you are done with your domain experience and now just want to settle down by doing 9-5 job with normaltesting work then this is a job for you. Very slow hiring process. It 2-3 months for all process, if you crack all rounds. They prefer only candidates who is having reference, although other candidated having better knowledge.

I joined Siemens as a support engineer, having previously worked in a similar role in other organizations. I must say, the situation at Siemens is very favorable. They compensate extra for on-call shifts, and if your shift falls in the evening, you receive additional pay. Moreover, there are no night shifts; instead, engineers in other time zones cover the night hours, which is a significant benefit. Additionally, the pay is better compared to my previous company. Other likes are- flexible timings, annual gifts, opportunities for skills development, and proper KT. Sometimes manager expects a lot . You do your role job ,apart from that they expect you to write articles on the product(just after 4 months of joining), give KT to juniors ,unnecessary meetings and trainings which are annoying.

Nothing, totally toxic management. Racist and plays huge politics on castism. No hikes, No bonuses, No appreciation. The full of sweet tooths. Easy blame games made here. Bad mouthing is what they do when they go to have a cup of tea outside of the office.

Everything. There is no proper work distribution. No proper resource in team. The manager is sick when you ask raise but they want unimaginable things from you. Simply overhyped company. It was good back before covid, but now its worse than a service based company.

Working with Siemens was great experience. They use lastest technology in project. I have learnt a lot through out journey in Siemens. It helped me to grow professionally and personally. Most of lead and managers are helpful and down to earth in nature. It was great to be part of SIEMENS

Friendly environment, good bonuses , excellent benifits. Managers are understanding. Permanent Wfh for ladies in genuine need.

Dislikes

No casual leaves. North Indian festivals not celebrated like Holi, diwali, ganesh chaturthi, lori,etc. Bonuses paid will be recovered if you leave within 2 years. Only Rs 3 lacs health insurance cover. Advanta services in particular does not has job security but they will try to retain internally if client backs off. Salary package is average not competitive with respect to maket.

Extreme favouritism. Too many back door entries and incompetent folks at the top positions. HR is a manager's puppet. Promotions are given only to the ones closer to the manager irrespective of one's skills and contribution. Absolutely no respect for one's talent and you cannot question the status quo. Good people leave and masuers remain.

I liked the management and other fun activities apart from work. Good work life balance. Job security in excellent here, other benefits related to leaves and flexibility in working from home. Appraisal are quite less sometimes, u can say like 7-9%, That also depends upon your client and the team u work in.
