Every co. has its own advantage & disadvantage. In my opinion only around 1% of ppl are truly satisfied with both jobs and co. after serving say 5 yrs. Here, if you don't mind many things and continue your work, you enjoy yr stay. If you start cribbing, comparing, etc you won't be satisfied. The work culture is the worst I have ever seen in my career of 8 years. The work is very unevenly distributed. A department has no work while the other struggles with work pressure. They do not give any kind of training or breathing space for the sales team. They start putting target pressure right from the 1 month Sales team is treated very badly. All the mandate business is given to operations and credit teams for them to help meet their targets and get their commissions where as the relationship managers struggle to even reach their set targets which are again very unrealistic because the bank policies are very unaligned with the indian markets and they do not even make the effort to work on them. The management is incompetent and they fail to understand how a bank branch is handled. They do not have the skill set to understand the skills of their teams n allocate jobs accordingly. The attrition rate is very high in this particular location. When I joined the bank, none of the employees except for the department heads were older than 1 year in the bank. They use relationship managers like tissue papers. They lie in the interview about the job profiles they would be offering blatantly and change the JD within one month to 2 months of the applicant joining the bank. They are very short sighted and not strategic in their decision making process. THEY HIRE AND FIRE JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT. I joined the bank as AVP and was told to leave within 8 months into my job because I was not able to achieve my targets. I have been a star performer in the same segment in my previous organization winning the best performance award in sale of retail assets 3 years in a row. One organization that does not value their staff. I would not recommend anyone to join this place atleast in the Hyderabad location. I do not know much about their operations and management in other countries but in india, specifically in Hyderabad location, it is not worth to even consider joining....Read More
