Hiring: Let's start from these people hiring. They call after a month of your interview. Recruiter doesn't pick up your calls in the meantime. And once they call you, they want you to join immediately on a weekend. Also, they offer you significantly less that what was discussed but they promise a good project which is starting from scratch. Once you agree to their terms, they want you to immediately sign the offer letter at their office. Once they confirm that you no longer have other offers, they will give a reason and say they lost the project for which you were hired and allocate you somewhere else. Culture: Feels like you're sitting in a school classroom where HRs act as monitors and CRs playing favouritism. 9 hrs in office compulsory if you are not working for a client (Siemens here as you'll go to Siemens office and not pratiti) and working for inhouse projects, failing to do which you will be asked to apply for a leave according to the hrs you have deficit. Desktrack to measure the amount of time spent on screen. No consideration for people who come to work from far away. No good employee retention policies. I know people who were asked to leave tomorrow when called for a meeting. Compensation: Appraisal just because it has to be given so around 2% in monthly salary. Less than market value packages for experienced people. Good starting package for freshers though. Work in the team: Nobody helps you learn but you need to learn to survive. This helps in exploring technologies but the thing is once you get a hang of something, you're moved to something else and asked to learn about it again. Team politics here as well, as people are helped based off of how much they are liked by which groups inside the team.
