Earlier the treatment was fair. No discrimination against QA resources. Less priority but work life balance etc was good. Nominal hikes. People tend to stay long term.

Now the expectation is everyone has to be a developer or Engineering manager in certain verticals.If you have a quality tag in your designation unless project is completely dependent on your for something you won’t get promoted. They make fool out of existing resources and hire new QA resources who are mostly fake candidates or someone who is able to join immediately. Hope you don’t join in those vertical....Read More

I enjoyed my work with Optum . It is a good company and the environment is also great . Optum thinks about their employees very well. I'm thankful of the company for gave an opportunity to work with them.

No appraisal no hikes no promotion the management was not good they are not least bothered about their employees. Head office was in gurgaon but those people develop their self they will not give much importance to Hyderabad employees A part from IT sector if you randomly ask with any operational team you will get the same answer their is politics. The manager will change every year optum will provide a survey every year how the organisation is running for every employee but the manager will call us and they will take the control from us and fill the forms and give rating 5/5 for the organisation and for themself .If any onshore people is reading this please make this issue it's very bad for the organisation...Read More

Promotion and growth aren't attractive enough. Being a healthcare company, they have lots of security policies which sometimes might restrict learning and exploration opportunities with new tech.

Extreme work pressure with no target consideration. Unrealistic target expectations. Rude behaviour of TL's. Working for more than 8,9 hours ended up to get marked as halfday . No work life balance. Even after having flexi hours for login. Managers constantly ask employees to login before 9am.
