The organisation uses home based care(HBC) model which i find it readily innovative in improving quality of life for all clients through a package of comprehensive health care.It also has good room for interaction and understanding clients/patients hence providing quality care.Through continuous medical education,it makes sure that all medical errors and or incidences are reported and avoided. The project also ensures all medical staff undergo training on nutritional monitoring activities for easy case detection and referral system.Another plus point is that the project has good staffing process hence working with colleagues from various races and cultural backgrounds and we work with excellent relationship and collaboration.The employee was supportive by introducing staff counselling programme where we could share challenges and get a specialist to solve and give workable solutions....Read More

Dislikes

I can`t say I dislike anything too intensely, but the organisation is very small so the opportunities for growth is very minimal and limited. Working in slum areas full of insecurity makes me feel at risk,people are stolen at gun point even during day time .Also with poor roads,i find it difficult reaching job during rainy seasons.

Work Details

Generally my work involves clients triaging, ,taking blood specimens /samples ,wound care, drugs administration and dispensing drugs,it also involves assisting doctor in minor procedures.escorting patient during referrals which i find it challenging.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
