Poor work life balance, they talk a lot about employee wel being but on the ground nothing visible significantly. The health insurance policy is not par to market standards.

I would not recommend working for this company who are getting hired on (FTC) if you're looking for job stability and growth. Despite completing the probation period, I was hired on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) and was never made permanent. Here are my key issues: 1.Lack of Job Security: Even after successfully completing the probation period, they continued to keep me on a fixed-term contract with no intention of making me a permanent employee. 2.No Salary Increment: As an FTC employee, there were no salary increments, which is extremely discouraging and doesn't reflect the hard work and dedication put into the job. 3.Unstable Work Assignments: After the probation period, they assigned me to different teams for various projects. Despite contributing significantly to these projects, they still refused to make my position permanent. Once the project was completed, they simply terminated my contract. 4.External Hiring Over Internal Promotion: Instead of offering permanent positions to current FTC employees, the company continuously hires new people from outside. Good pay for Freshers as of now 4LPA and best company for high level managers as may use to work here for 15+ -20+ years. Leaves are great as Annual leave -30, Sick-12, Comp off 8 per year. In my department the work culture is equal to IT, one the Well reputed company in banking

Dislikes

Many will work for 15+ years and become Rulers and Decide with their preferences for Promotions and Hike. This will kills the growth of an employee, some of the departments will ask you to work from that work time which is usual in banking sector.

1. Compensation 2. Performance appraisal 3. Tenor based promotion and not merit based, also tenor based is not guaranteed as it depends on who at the upper level is leaving. Even for getting promotion in the same team, you need to give interview 4. No clear communication by leaders in terms of closing the location or division, impacting people 5. When they have nothing to say in performance, they put you down in name of visibility 6. No skill set , lacking behind digitally 7. People are not ambitious and they don't let you be 8. They usually don't ask you to work overtime. You have enough leaves for a year.

They have the most egoistic and skill less managers. Your hard work and opinions would not matter unless and until you play according to the system of not suggesting alternatives when you know things could be better that way. They expect you to be brainless machines that do exactly what is asked to be done. You ask a question about something that you feel doesn't make sense to one of the superiors in the most respectful ways and suddenly you become the troublesome employee. If you are fine with just doing what you're asked to and are not inquisitive in nature, you could do fine here. If you are someone who tries to find better ways of getting things done or a person who requires to have 100 percentage clarity behind the purpose of your work, then NatWest is a big no. Work life balance was good earlier & most of the teams are not having hectic work load. 30 days annual leave & 12 days sick leaves which can be carry forwarded for 5 years. Working hours are flexible.

Dislikes

1. Working from office has become mandatory & they track the same like service company. 2. It's mostly a vedors team (infy, ycs) in NatWest for all projects and many permanent employees are forced to report to vendor managers. This has created negative work environment for permanent employees & heaven for vendors! 3. Salary hikes are very low and overall package is like Indian service companies. 4. No proper transport facility. They operate 1 TT per metro station. 5. Hiring goes unfair & unethical. Vendor resources become perms in back door, without interview! Many managers here are back door hires only. 6. Not great place for technical growth also - as many things are contracted to infy, tcs. Whatever they do is the work ! 7. Each and every process is super slow. 8. Finally, notice period is 3 months - so, difficult when you need to switch over. RBS is very good company specially for girls and house wife , rbs is providing Very good environment and facilities. So that women can achieve their career in banking sector.

Dislikes

I Don't think so any dislike in RBS but need to improvement like more opportunities for those people who are already working with RBS from long time . Like preference for those people who is acutely deserve the next level. Please providing the support those people as well.
