Morgan stanley has a very good overall culture. You can talk to anyone anytime without any hesitations. No difference between contractors and Full Time employees.
The promotions from Director to VP level and beyond is very conplicated and unclear. You have to go way out of your job role to get that. Also, it is an investment bank so majority of the tech projects have mediocre tech stack. But Morgan stanley as a company have multiple tech forums which can be utilized to enhave skills and that you have to do on top of your project work.
