Promotion and appraisals are on the lower side post covid and the management culture is a bit conservative and traditional.

Extreme favoritism, biasness and politics. Managers not discussing career path, regular 1:1s, lacks of KPIs to track performance and judging individuals on the basis of peers' feedback, lack of guidance from the leadership team and poor training mechanism

Do not ever join Corporate Workplace Technology department. It's headed by a fool and run by psychology ill leaders. They spend their time playing psycho games instead of working. Nobody in that department has any clue where this department is headed.

Dislikes

Too much beurocracy. Poor management who have no vision and do not understand what they are actually doing. Top down culture. Too much politics. If you are someone who really wants to do stuff, please stay away from this company.

Specific to my process, not sure about others 1. No support from managers 2. Although sufficient leaves are available but management creates issue in granting leaves. 3. No clarity related to growth/promotion. 4. Uncertainty of job in terms of layoffs. 5. No backfills/backups incase someone leaves the organization, have to work with limited resources.

Old senior employees exploiting new employees. HR supports office politics and no workplace ethics. No mandatory job rotation, which is causing people to stay with their loved ones and exploiting new comers. Senior management is playing blind & deaf role.

Poor job security and unfair appraisals and promotions. Coddling up to managers is required to get ahead and promoted. Kind of starting to become like TCS management. Tons of middle layer management in India.
