I would like to share my experience . I have joined Microsoft from a third party vendor . I was working well and i have got up some family issues and i have to resign and i did the same . It went quite well till my resignation period. Here the orginal story starts post my resignation i have got my experience letter with good comments and good feedback from the vendor side. So after certain again tried to connect again with Microsoft for an opportunity . I tried to upload my resume with vendor they applied with Microsoft. The real truth is the opportunity which i am getting with Microsoft are simply rejecting just hearing my name . I was shocked and checked the reason and to be surprised the reason what i have heard is my ex- Manager which i had worked has given some negitive feedback about me and by this the other recurting team is avoiding or rejecting me by just hearing me .. i have tried for three time and it was same answers. It is very pathetic and never thought that Microsoft such a big organization would do such things. They are simply annoying my experience and they doing discrimination by just hearing my name. Now to be honest i think i never get an opportunity to work with Microsoft again. I was shocked just by hearing something wrong By an one employee in Microsoft . This company has been plagued with Bad leadership and managenet in the post COVID times, it feels so disappointing to see this company becoming what it is today after begin here for more than a decade just for the great culture and values that's almost nonexistent now. Almost all the managers these days have been hired cheaply fromIndian companies, these people lack basic etiquette and bring their toxic culture to the along, has made the culture exteremely Toxic and Political. Employee Satisfaction and Welfare are not the priority anymore and the company is now is only chasing profits after the bad investment decision to fund OpenAI all the funding has been directed to build AI and acquire GPUs, there hasn't been any appraisals since the past 2-3 years and the employees are being forced to accept dry promotions without any hike in pay but responsibilities with the expectation to perform without an boost to Morale or appreciation for your hard work. All talks of being a Growth Minded organization ring Hollow and fake as there is no growth in Microsoft (India) anymore. If you are really unlucky you will be stuck in a lousy and bad cultured team. But that DOESN'T define the overall organization. And the best part is, there is always a way out and scope for internal switch.

Dislikes

Its no more the old Microsoft which was known for cultural and work life balance. Its rotten by the politics and bad culture. Its just a hire and fire company now. Make sure you learn politics before entering in. Best would be to stay away from Microsoft India.
