Hi I have completed all technical and managerial rounds with Microsoft . When HR called me to inform me all rounds were positive. She told someone from hiring team will call you for documents. It's already 4 days since no one called me . No I can see that the position is frozen. Did this happen with anyone? Any idea what to do? I am really upset now.

Software Engineer or IAS?😅
So, this might sound crazy to some... I just graduated IIT with a CS degree and landed a sweet gig as a software developer at Microsoft Corporation in Hyderabad. Perks? Amazing. Work-life balance? But lately, there's this itch I can't ignore - the IAS exam keeps calling my name.
Don't get me wrong, this Microsoft life rocks. But there's this fire in me, a desire to serve the country in a bigger way. The IAS feels like the path to make a real difference.
Anyone out there been down this road?😅 Please help.

Risks in joining Microsoft (especially India)
Microsoft is place where you will face following things
- Peanut size work will have monkeys from all corners of the world fighting over it.
- Chances are that your manager is quite insecure and wants to squish your enthusiasm and energy.
- High chances that most people you meet will not have good enough depth of the business and you end up kicked around with wrong information across the org.
- You will be micro-managed (even at Principal level) to an extend that you might feel suffocated and have to leave.
- Most people are short of any meaningful work.
