Dozens of people with pristine history and exceeds rating that took parental or medical leave and got laid off. I didn’t even know this was legal. A lot of people who devoted 8-10 years to the company with multiple AE ruthlessly axed! Seems it was more about money than performance. Be careful about joining this company. Zuck doesn’t care about his employees. Only the company Meta

At Facebook/Meta, why do most engineers list themselves as Software Engineers on LinkedIn?🤷‍♂️

Most people I know who work at Meta list "Software Engineer" on their LinkedIn profiles. Their level (E5, E6, etc.) isn't typically included. In contrast, many Google engineers seem to incorporate their seniority (Senior, Staff, etc.) into their titles. Is there a policy at Facebook/Meta discouraging engineers from including their level on LinkedIn?
