If we talk about in terms of job security, it is a very secure job, even at the times of Covid-19 when company is not making any business, company did not drop any employee. Instead of that they cut out the salary of senior management, while salary of low paying workforce remains the same. Further, work life balance is also good, 8 to 9 hours a day. Hardly, you have to stay for longer hours. Talking in terms of opportunity, as I was working in R&D, I got different opportunities to work with latest of the technology & projects in medical device industry. Also got a chance to interact and work with so many experts and doctors working in the industry. Now, talking about management, they are having big vision and also have proper road map for that but when it comes to execution, it is very poor. Therefore, company is very inefficient is some of their area. Further, the work culture is some what toxic. Nobody wants to take responsibility of their work, they just played blame game and it is observed at senior manager level, only very few is working honestly in the interest of company. Most of them are just there to fill their pocket. There has been lots of politics within the company. The one who knows how to manipulate the management is growing and it applies from top level to bottom level employee. Now comes to salary & appraisal, as it all depends on your GM. What I observed at my time at Meril is that there is a lack of satisfaction among the employee in terms what are they payed. Like the one who is worthy enough is payed less while the one who is not worthy is over-payed. So if you are lucky one, company will give you high compensation. Neither employees nor management seem to value the role of HR. Management consider HR as Robot. There is unequal treatment of male and female employees within HR teams. Employees are unclear about their roles and responsibilities for years Diplomatic heads are perceived as unsupportive of their team members. I had the unfortunate experience of working with Meril, and I can confidently say that it is not a place where you can learn or grow professionally. The entire HR department lacks the basic skills and knowledge required to run an effective HR function. There is a noticeable absence of professionalism, and instead, the environment isfull of office politics. The HR leadership is not proactive or competent, with many heads showing up after 11:00 am and hardly demonstrating any sense of urgency or responsibility. I didn't like anything there. It is a one man army driven company. The owner takes all decisions which is based on the fake inputs by the Head.

Dislikes

No ethical conduct or studies, 90 vagues data is presented. The clinical head is the main culprit for fabricated data. He doesn't have any knowledge of clinical trials still he being made head. All unethical work are done by him and also pressurize employees to so. Better to be jobless rather than working here.
