One thing I value most in MapUp is the work-life balance. It has flexible hours and understands that happy and fulfilled employees are important. Because of this approach, I have been able to give time to my family and hobbies which has contributed positively to my mental health.

employees are treated more like machines than human beings. The workload is overwhelming, with tasks piled on endlessly, leaving individuals feeling overburdened and stressed beyond measure. What's worse is that management seems oblivious or indifferent to the plight of their staff, as they continue to pile on tasks without regard for work-life balance. One of the most egregious aspects of working is the blatant disregard for employees' time outside of regular office hours. Meetings are scheduled well beyond the end of the workday, forcing individuals to sacrifice their personal time and wellbeing just to keep up with the demands of the job. This practice is not only unsustainable but also demonstrates a lack of respect for employees' time and boundaries. Furthermore, the culture of blame and hostility within the workplace is deeply concerning. Instead of fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, some employees resort to intimidation tactics, shouting, and blaming others for minor mistakes. Seniors and founders are very egotistical and will leave no chance to steal your work or hit you below the belt. Founders only treat the older employees good and treat new hires as temporary resources. Most of the employees leave within 6 months to 1 year. They are strictly following a hire and fire culture. You’ll be in constant fear of being fired rather than focusing on the job. There are no fixed working hours. You’ll be monitored for each second. Job requires minimum 11 to 12 hours a day of commitment. It is stressful at times. But as said earlier if you are committed to work and don't have any other commitments and want to climb up the ladder sooner you can go for it. We could feel micro management too on everyday basis.
