No job security for the development officer post, you can get terminated (even if you are near retirement age), outdated training, lack of support for new joiners for this post that's why less than 10% joiners get confirmed. I was terminated after working for 7 years in lic even though there was relaxation which stated "no termination" for appraisal during covid years, increment is tied to target, you can get decrement as well </mark> For such a big organization there is no alternate post where low performing development officer can be transferred to, while low performers in other posts have option to transfer with little to no punishment for low performance, only development officer is responsible for target and the punishment is termination...Read More
