The leaders foster an excellent culture. Managers behave well. Leads are also good mentors. Excellent knowledge-sharing programs. Work is balanced according to projects. It is not always 9-6 but if you manage well overall you are not overworked.

Dislikes

Very little transparency about increments and often unjust merit increments. No promises are kept when it comes to appraisal. Only good behaviour is what you get.

Office life was fine before the pandemic before it all went downhill.

Their inherent and irrevocable focus on quantity over quality can bring down any sincere worker's morale. Training is minimal as a result quality of work is consistently substandard, which is blamed on the junior resources. No evaluations for senior members, skill heads, managers and leads. They get to be as lazy, rude and unproductive as they fancy. They don't believe in small issues like ethics and will make promises which they never intended to keep. Managers request (read beg) resources to work on projects they are not even allocated to, coaxing them to work on weekends beyond the apparently usual 12-13 hours on weekdays and then simply disappearing on the said resource when inquired about compensatory leaves. Horrible internal politics. Resembles a stereotypical ladies brunch. You either train to be a boot licker or leave. No place for work life balance because you HAVE NO LIFE.
