Small company so one has the option to get focus if he/she is exceptionally well. CEO, Head HR and other top level executives are reachable.

Bad middle management, they have promoted some old loyal employees to mid level management who are not at all good at their work and promote sycophancy. As company is into edTech domain most of the works comes in frontend technology, for backend technology people its not good here. Most of the times huge work pressure due to employee shortage, very little work-life balance, sometime working during weekends is norm and even you can't take your compensatory leave. Company has less employee than its required, almost everybody billed - many work into multiple projects at the same time. No bench concept till now, they are now planning bench. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. On-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client's requirement.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is totally unbalanced, sometimes people have to work 12-16 hours straight in a day. Client appreciation goes unnoticed while appraisal consideration. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks have to guide them step-by-step, which turned to pain at time of deliveries.

Training - There is some online training platform which they are using to cross-train the person in case of PHP/PYTHON/RUBY/DATABASE...etc which are not being contolled by the learner. I mean, online learning tutorial should be controlled by the learner with their own time, speed and space. They should provide the licence to the respective learner. Career growth - There is no growth plan in place for each career level in terms of documentation. LM can define some guideline which will be helpful for each individual role to grow....Read More
