Thank you for sharing your experience. It is great to hear that you appreciate the remote work, your colleagues and the leadership of our Executive Tigers. Being transparent and approachable is an integral part of the LARVOL culture. We endeavor to provide a positive work-life balance and never want our Tigers to feel overworked. We recently updated our paid time off policies and make every effort to ensure our Tigers are able to take the needed time off. With flexible work, it can sometimes feel that you are expected to work 7 days but it is not a requirement. If a team member feels they are unable to take time off due to their workload, we urge them to explore opportunities for time off with their immediate manager. We have been remote-first since day one, and we’re really proud of the way our global team of Tigers thrive outside of a traditional office environment. We’ve found it encourages team members to find their best “work-life” fit, wherever that might be. We certainly value hard work and results across the company. But we also seek to encourage rest and balance for all our team members. With a fully global remote workforce, we offer a flexible schedule across time zones. For some, however, this can create the impression we expect work 24/7 – which is certainly not the case! We are working diligently to correct this misperception when it arises, going team by team, manager by manager. We ask our managers to closely monitor their teams’ weekly workload and regularly add team members when we see working hours increasing. We are committed to ensuring our teams are not overburdened. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. LARVOL operates in a 100% remote, independent contractor environment, which offers flexibility but requires independence. Job security in a contractor role is inherently different from traditional employment, and this is clearly communicated upfront. In a fully remote setting, we provide resources and guidance, but success here depends on self-initiative and adaptability. While we don’t offer in-person, step-by-step training found in traditional office settings, our leadership team remains accessible, though response times may vary due to different time zones. We understand that contract based remote work isn’t for everyone, but those who succeed here are self-starters who thrive in a fast paced, agile environment. We’re sorry this wasn’t the right fit for you, but we appreciate your time with us and wish you the best in your career.

We want to clarify that we do not require our team to work seven days a week—everyone is entitled to time off. While time off may not always be granted simultaneously for all team members, we make sure everyone has the flexibility to manage their personal and professional commitments. Regarding compensation, we believe in rewarding performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed for everyone, as they are tied to performance levels. Our top performers, whom we call "Olympians," receive full bonuses and generous raises. Others are rewarded based on their individual contributions and the overall performance of the company.
