Managers are overly egoistic and do not help out with onboarding of a new joiner, or even making them comfortable unless the joinee practically runs around following the managers. Employees work in office even when they're severely sick, just to maintain a good impression in front of their managers. Too much politics among TLs and managers and analysts, to get ahead in the firm. Just a bad overall culture of people. The firm made me change my career stream coz I was so demotivated after working here for just 2 months....Read More

IBM

IBM to KPMG, Should i make a switch

I am currently working as a delivery consultant in IBM(1YOE), which is a technical role and i want to make a switch into a non-tech Consulting centric role and have an offer from KPMG as an analyst, the salary hike is not significant but I want to make a strong profile for making it into management consulting firm later on in my life, should I be making a switch, or wait for any better opportunity as the growth in IBM is very slow and takes time.
