The appraisals are very less and below market standard I must say. Too much of toxicity in office culture. Although you will see a lot after joining about work culture and all but there’s nothing. I complained against my manager as once he threw my laptop and had behavioural issue but that resulted me into getting PIP without any proper reason. Work life imbalance, too much trainings irrelevant to your job role. Stringent independence compliance with office and storage of work force leads to overtime work. Also it wont allow to work from home more than a week or two.

Everything about the culture is horrible. Forget everything you know about personal life while you're employed here. You will never get to see your family, won't get time to make a phone call, your friends will hate you for being unavailable all the time. Keep struggling for sleep throughout your tenure. Unreal expectations that is impossible to meet but helps the management in cutting down your promotions. Technical Learning is good but at the cost of 11-12 Hours daily work schedule. New Hires are good. Expect to be involved in multiple projects from the initial days itself. Flexible office timings are good.

Dislikes

Cab services are costly even if you travel only 1 Day per week. Yearly Appraisals/Promotions are terrible. Avoid working under people who are sitting since last 8-10 Years already. Few skills like AI are in demand others are not entertained well. In short this is somewhat better version of TCS/Infosys nothing much

It is a highly biased firm, if you are not in good books of senior management people, then no matter how good you perform it won't matter. Your growth rate is not proportional to your effort & skills if you don't know how to be in good books of some people

1)There is no work life balance. 2)There is no Log off time we need to start the day before the login times and there is no log off time for the company. 3) there are so much politics they can remove you from the company at any time with nonsense reason 4) they will never promote you as per your quality then never see good on you but always see bad in you

KPMG Global Services offers a very collaborative work environment and has great leaders especially in the Consulting domain and not marketing.

Dislikes

The Performance Manager in the CH (Capability Hubs) team at KGS looks at women inappropriately. He along with another team member made inappropriate comments on me during one on one and even in front of everyone. I was under stress as I had never anticipated this kind of behavior within such an esteemed org. One word for this team -toxic. The team members knew that he skips office and left early and so the rest of them also started doing this and dodge client's request without any sense of urgency. If they see someone working and doing good, they constantly undermine them. I will never recommend this team for one sole reason - Your mental peace and sense of self. The leadership kept changing till the time I was there which clearly means there is not a good leader that this team has gotten. For no reasons RTO tracking by supervisor though exceptions given to shift people, also while having not client facing role forced for RTO. Companies like Deloitte and PWC still giving work from home, no one is tracking the way KPMG. That is forcing people to leave organisation.
