Nothing to like about. Even the pay is low compared to other MBB.

This has been one of the most harrowing work experiences for me. The firm has not been growing for the past 11 years. They aim to be one of the top tier consulting firms but fail miserably. To begin with they follow the principle of switch and bait which is a red flag in any hiring process. They would hire you as a manager and then ask a very senior person of 10 years work experience to do grunt job as an associate with a false promise to promote in 3 months. All this is done by senior partners who lie through their teeth. Even if they promote you in a year which is unlikely, the raises are abysmally low. All this is done because they do not have business and senior people are shown off to clients as associates in hopes of winning projects which never happens as clients see through their tricks. They not only make false promises to clients but to their employees as well. All you end up doing is business development and if you cannot win a project as an associate then you are going to be axed for sure. The onus of winning a project lies on you. Laterals should never join this firm. Its only friendly to campus hires who they call Kearney originals and they favour them only. Its filled with mannerless, rude Punjabi folks who have no idea how to speak decently. Only people who will survive here are boot lickers. Go to BCG if you are a lateral. Its way better and they have some work ethics, certainly not like Kearney. Kearney brand name doesn’t matter as it is not a top tier consulting company. Its second tier at best and believer me, there is absolutely no benefit in slogging for a second tier consulting firm. There is up or out in this firm no matter what anyone says. You will go into depression if you plan to join this firm. The partner will demotivate you, make you think you are worthy of nothing and you will struggle further.
