The bank is basically Govt.bank jointly owned by Central Govt.,State Govt.,& State bank,hence job security is excellent.Regional Manager is a senior management post controlling about 60 branches having a mix of rural and urban clientale. Regional Manager is responsible for overall growth of business in the region and staff administration.It was really a challenging job,frequent visits branches to monitor functioning of the branches and for motivating manager and staff.Conducting meetings of branch manager to discuss business development & strategies and also with Head office functionaries particularly in respect of business development,constraints and staff related matters -overall it was a challenging job and I enjoyed it....Read More

Dislikes

Although the Bank is basically Govt.bank,knowledge of particularly most of the urban public are not aware of this fact and not taking the bank on par with othe r public sector bank, this hinders business development and hurts staff ego.

Work Details

My job was quiet challenging ,involving frequent visits to branches ,conducting meetings,working out strategies for business development & for achieving targets in respect growth of advances and deposits recovery percentage of loans,profitability.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)
