Working at Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has been a harsh reality check, revealing a deeply flawed management and operational structure that fosters a toxic work environment. The bank is chronically understaffed, with a severe shortage of clerks and officers. Rather than addressing this by hiring qualified personnel, KVB heavily relies on B ranch Sales and Service Executives (BSSEs), who are often fresh MBA graduates. These BSSEs are unfairly burdened with the responsibilities of clerks and officers, yet receive no additional support or fair compensation<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Despite managing an overwhelming workload, BSSEs see no rewards—no promotions, no salary increases—even after proving their capabilities</mark>. To make matters worse, they are often forced to work late into the night, adding to their frustration and fatigue. Leadership is another weak point, as many managers lack the knowledge and skills necessary to guide their teams effectively. Adding to the disillusionment, BSSEs are frequently relegated to the role of telecallers, making daily calls to customers to meet high and often unrealistic sales targets. There's no incentive structure to reward their hard work, and they’re further bound by a restrictive two-year bond, which traps them in this disheartening situation. No common rule for everyone as such, if you are favourite to upper management you will get promoted easily, no daily task given, no proper way to analyse work efficiency of employees. Whether we do 2 desk jobs or 3 desk job rating is same as to person who doesn't or is incapable of doing the task. Very discriminatory behaviour towar ds employees and the person who does work is even entire work of department and who doesn't is even sympathy ( nor he is trained punished de promoted moved to other department as per his caliber just he stays in team and we have to do his work as he is trying he is poor guy and we have to hear that you are good why don't you do so basically if you are good at work don't go as you may have to sit till 10 and no flexibility in work and not ready to change in any work culture. I worked there as a legal officer, I performed all type of legal works. It's not specific to anywork, hence able to get knowledge of every thing in short span of time.

Bad Management and not transparent HR policies. After 2018 they are not recruiting under IBA. CTC and IBA pay scale have huge monetory difference. CTC ppl do not have union. Quarterly self appraisal is of no good than a headache. No transparent for yearly increment policy, promotion pol icy etc. Further your promotion will be mostly based on your background than your work. It is mandatory to sit till 8-9 p.m in the office regardless of completion of your work....Read More
