It was good at first, when I joined, good WFH benefits, WFH equipment reimbursement. Good culture.
The culture is not moving in a good direction, there is very less to No appreciation, team culture are going into abyss. Its just becoming a service based company. They are ending the WFH policy. CIB SST TA team is pathetic. Worst project of my career. Favouritism. Unbelievably impossible deadlines. Minimum 14 hours work per day continuously. No comp offs no leave policy , always on call, multiple releases per month on weekends, everything is critical. Micromanagement is encouraged. Sometimes i felt even managers were helpless, no option. Only cunning people who blame on others can survive, others will end up messing of their health. You will be low key forced to contribute to company and CIB initiatives even if your project has too much of work and have no time. Developers are treated like labour. Salary is decent compared to industry average. Also, You don’t need to worry about the job security unless you are really bad. Work life balance depends on which line of business and what team are you working.
Promotions are too slow compared to your peers in US or UK. A person will stay as an Analyst or Associate for years and your peer will become a Vice President or even an Executive Director within the same timelines. Your promotions are hardly based on your performance and mostly based on how much good relationship you have with your manager and how much the management has endorsed you as a brand.

It has work life balance to some extent as it can be seen in some job profiles not all. They value their employees and constantly help them in growing technical skills.
Management people within the organization are not able to maintain JP Morgan true work culture policy which creates dissatisfaction and unrest among employees.
