There was completely unnecessary flake company got recently. It was not like they called everyone underperformers. They had already given us heads up, gave enough time to learn new tools, technology, they created so many internal mobility opportunities for team members to move around & take up new roles. They did everything they could to save employees.

Amazing company culture, product mindset, employee benefits and lots of programs to promote well being of the workforce. Compensation is very competitive and if you are delivering in alignment to the goals and making sure its highlighted appropriately growth opportunities are there.

With change in top leadership (in past few years) there has been a huge shift in replacing people instead of upskilling them, in terms of business its okay, but this is being heavily misused by the middle layer of leaders to target people. They give you long term goals which are very ambiguous and keep you busy in short term items and nudge daily/weekly and bring down the morale/interest of the employee. Even top performers are being laid off or marked as underperforming smartly, just because the senior leaders cannot understand what exactly is needed. The majority of Onus is on Frontline managers and the delivery teams. The old timers really make it difficult for anyone to speak their mind, and when someone else appreciates those ideas, they just align but by then lots of time is wasted and then comes the deadlines. Hire and Fire policy every year and Zero job Security All the reviews which are talking good about WLB are all fake and written by HRs/Marketers. Ask any Intuit Employee what Intuit India Leaders has mentioned about these employee burnout due to un-necessary pressure. According to leaders, this is the new normal in Intuit. Monolith code base and was written 10-15 years back. Engineers are supposed to be on-call 24*7 and any issue has to be resolved within a hours time. On-call rotation is almost bi-weekly due to less people in each time. Intuit gets double of what they pay each month to you. Intuit India gets scrap/maintenance work from US and no hands on coding from scratch.
