ICON is my 4th organization, i wish i could retire from here itself :-) . ICON is a company of great leaders and culture. You will have people around you that respect you and pay attention to you and your skills. I have been rewarded for all of my achievement so far. fingers crossed for future. i feel the sense of equality here. Youget to learn many things on daily basis. You may find cool bosses/managers here. Indeed, you will have lot of work but that's what I am hired to manage. :-) . Trust me i had seen toxic culture in my previous Org but it's not the case here. I DONT have any dislike about the icon. ICON is the BEST company i am working with. But would rather suggest a point that if icon start's providing their tenured employee's onsite/abroad opportunity to work, visit other icon offices across the world. then it will add value to the employee experience and career.

The best part is general shift and could see a lot of your counterparts travelling across the world.

There is no growth at Icon India - Chennai. Lot of politics and there is no opportunity for self developments. IJP's are created only for an eyewash. Poor HR and services that are rendered by HR are completely biased and useless. Only when the HR team is changed the entire organisation in Chennai will shine. There is no employee concern when you stretch or come during off days to work. Budget allocated for employees aren't used for them which demotivates most of the time....Read More

All my responses are based on my experiences with the company. I am employed with ICON and working on a FSP model to some other company. The experiences till date is satisfactory enough. For my profile, the best thing that I liked is the travel policy ICON has.

Dislikes

Again can't say much but I would say that a little proactive news towards the outsourced FSP employees will benefit in terms of IT systems. Rest I am fine with everything.

Great to be part of ICON which takes care of its employees very well. The team environment is really cool and non-toxic. I have not felt any pressure working as part of my team in ICON. The collaboration is good among the team.

If you are a contractor, the experience will be different. Many things are limited to just the employees and not the contractors though they are also part of the team working from the same office premises. This includes, participating in company events, food services etc. are restricted. Most of the times, contractors are left as audiences in events. All these tend to violate one of the key values of ICON which is "Inclusion". Another instance is that, the introduction of Contractor tags for ID's which clearly discriminates the ICON employees and contractors from vendor companies who work for us. The irony is that, the same tag which says "Contractor" is given to housekeeping, security staffs and to the Employees from vendor companies. I feel its illtreating the Employees(Analysts, Developers or Validation team members) from reputed vendor companies to just wear a badge that highlights they are "Contractors" and similar to housekeeping/security staffs!...Read More
