I previously worked at HTC Global Services in 2023-2024 with a Leading education related client. Now, I am working in the Netherlands at Seagate Hard Drive Company as a product Manager. AFTER REVIEWING THAT SHIT COMMENTS, I want to share my thoughts about Balaji Desikan. Have you heard of DORA Technology? In my current company, we're still doing R&D to generate accurate DORA reports automation, but Balaji had already implemented it successfully in his one of the client project in 2024 itself. Tracking lead time isn't easy, especially without the help of a ticketing tool. But Balaji figured out a way to calculate lead time without relying on any system or even developer input. That's impressive because, even with a ticketing tool. it usually just fetches data and calculates based on developer status updates, He took it a step further- he built a way to track lead time without needing any external support. He created a complete project tracking system that gave visibility into everything: End to end activities - without using any external tools, just his own thought process and algorithms. If this model were applied across projects, It would be a game changer. It could easily identify bottlenecks and give developers complete visibility into their workflows, and make efficient software deliveries. This methodology and way of thinking were something I learned from him. It's not just a software development - it's an advance software management. Many developers don't even realize the value of these high-level activities. Just sitting and coding doesn't teach you these insights. Developers often focus on flexibility and finding comfortable solutions, but Balaji's approaches things differently, He follows the rule of ITSM protocols and optimizes methodologies to make them more efficient. That's the key difference between a developer and him. Another Incident: In Nov 2023, my client's website crashed because of an overload of requests, even though we had a load balancer in AWS cloud environment. Balaji steeped in, found the root cause, and suggested a solution of use the Round-Robin algorithm. That fixed the issue. The client adopted his approach, and they still using that method till to hanlde traffic efficiently. I still remember the moment when he got appreciation from Australian client for his quick thinking and problem-solving. Also, he implemented a solid bug-tracking system that categorized bug based on type, grouped and prioritized them effectively, and suggested log-based sorting to prevent similar issues in future. His structured approach to bug tracking made a huge difference when I worked with him. Before making false allegations and frame it someone, check the history of the person. He is not arrogant at all. He was my manager, and if you truly show your ability and dedication to your work, he will definitely support you all the time and situations. Worst company, no benefits. No job security. They pay bonus at their will. The conditions and Percentage changes every year without notice. If you are on notice or on bench, then no bonus. No promotions. You are valued only until you are billed by the client. If billing stops you go to dogs. I am working here form the past 5 years.
Htc only contacts you for timesheets and for nothing else. No appraisal meetings. No hikes.

I felt it was important to share this write-up about Balaji Desikan who's the account head of ADM projects, after coming across some negative and derogatory comments in a public forum. I'm not here to take sides or pass judgement, but rather to provide my honest experience working under his leadership on two key transformational projects for a reputed australian client over than span of 1.5 years. I had the privilege of being an active core team member on both these projects that we had delivered successfully, earning multiple accolades from the client's stakeholder and management. During my time working under him, He's someone who consistently focused on the betterment of the project, always striving to improve our ways of working. He played a pivotal role in setting up the process initiatives across project management, delivery and reporting, all of which were crucial to our success. One notable improvement that he brought in was the best practices for reporting project status and updates. This included creating daily detailed reports during UAT/E2E phases, as well as weekly and delivery reports through dashboards. Also, we standardized the email report templates, providing stakeholders with clear, consolidated view of key metrics, current progress, potential risks and proposed remediation. Our client stakeholders regularly expressed their appreciation for the clarity and transparency of our reports. These helped them stay aligned with project status and provided valuable insights into both progress & challenges. One of our biggest wins, was that these reporting practices were recognized as best practices and have been implemented in their org, receiving praise from their top management. Like any critical project, we faced challenges and some heated moments which is part and parcel of any project delivery. We delivered these projects successfully without any slippages and in good quality which were critical to client, as they viewed them as transformational initiatives that would significantly reduce with operational costs. The client management team from abroad even scheduled a special meeting to acknowledge the successful delivery of the project, even though we were the vendor company. They expressed their appreciation for entire team & Balaji, for the efforts in successful delivery of these projects. Personally I'm proud to be part of this journey & BALAJI DESIKAN's team. I have learnt a lot from him on the ways of working, project management and delivery, reporting which enhanced my skills in these areas at the end of these assignments. It all depends on the Client and the Manager whom you’re working with. Regular appraisals. Work life balance. If you are performing well there are good chances for H1B. If your shift ends after 10 PM, you have the cab facility regardless of the gender. No counterparts. You directly deal with the clients.
Very less night shift allowance. Financial team is not at all reachable. Smaller hikes. Not a great infrastructure. Don’t even have a good cafeteria. Even the associate managers are just like any other developers.

By any chance If you ask increment though you are eligible you will be kicked out of company. As sooon you asked you will get call from HR to tell about your LWD.
