Best of HSBC is work life balance is excellent, work is very much linient, colleagues managers vp avps are so much down to earth, all time they use to communicate with us.No issue for taking leaves. In future benefits for careeer growth

Nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Even small kirana stores have got better management. Life's big mistake you will do if you join MSS accounting and valuation process. Lots of people started resigning and still resigning and joined good organizations where they are valued. Not like HSBC.

Leaves policy is just pathetic. You wont get leave even in emergency. Or if any one on leave the same day. Leaves will lapse and as per policy wont get carry forward. Management is crap. Does not have brains because of which the process suffers and ultimately you will be held responsible for all the happenings. No training they will give. Will make you sign and accept that you got trained on everything and you are master now. Wont help you ever in problems. Only scold you and behave badly. 9 hrs will be filled with meeting and calls just to scare you and pressurize you nothing more. Oh god is this an alien company! Seems so it is from other world. No increment yearly forget about promotion.Even small scale startups give decent hike compared to hsbc. Nonsense cab booking system. Lots of restrictions and ultimately you have to log off go home wasting your own valuable money. No breaks. Fininsh one clients work and shift to next even if work and time is clashing. Managers and seniors will screw you. Seems they like bullying people. Abolutly toxic people Shame on them You wont have any desk to sit and work. Can you imagine your working for the company and its struggle to find desk everyday! Dont understand should i laugh or cry! Notice period different for everyone. Some have 3 months and some have 2 months and that too in same process. What to say! Total hopeless and nonsense system. Come on guys we are in 2024. There are lot more companies to explore and explore different work. They will treat you better atleast than this idiot organisation. Dont go by its name HSBC they think they are the only one who can buy you and your life. Dont sell yourself to them. Dont join. Wait good opportunities will come to you. Since HSBC is the only global outsourcing company in Kolkata..the management knows about the fact hence compensation is very poor. Hedge fund accounting job is not to satisfaction...and there is favouritism when it comes to promotion..so you don't have an opportunity to switch job as Kolkata is a pathetic place to work.
