Nothing good about your waste company.

Worst company to work as there is no work-life balance daily we need to do over time (without pay) and also work on weekends. Only top to bottom order flow and management is least bordered about employees. Employees are treated as animals in private farms where they cant do any thing of their choice and has to tolerate all the torture of top management. Only company in the world who tie up icats to their employees and exploit them on the basis of icats data. Very very very very less salary. Depending upon the team work life balance will be good. Lots of IJP options for career betterment. Lots of learning opportunities. The hike after clearing IJP is matched with the minimum level of the new grade. In many cases the hike percentage is comparable to hikes in switching to a new job. I have seen hikes between 20% to even 70%. It depends upon which dept you join.

Dislikes

Don't join at starting levels in this company. Minimum join as an assistant manager. Work life balance in a lot of operations and call centres in hsbc is bad for new joiners. Not all departments though.

Am working in HSBC from 2013 (11yrs) this is my 2nd company. Work life balance and job security making me to stay in HSBC so long period.

Office location is far from my home. Pick facility is not available for morning/regular shift. Only drop will be available post 7pm.

Learnings are very low, most probably you will do same thing the whole year and during appraisal will be asked what different thing you did. Huge difference between how you get treated based on GCB level. Communications are usually one way, just top to bottom.
