It was great to work with here technology. I was under a contract,due to lockdown our contract didn't got extended.we were more than 100 people who lost their job. they didn't thought about us,what will happen to them if they loose their job in pandemic.

The company's culture is amazing work life balance is maintained also it's fun working at HERE. You get transportation facilities as well as good infrastructure to work. It was my first job and I'm so fortunate i landed up to HERE we have 5 days working Saturday is yours plus company organises outdoor activities for the employees tobuild up our moral and HERE believes in team work, you get to work with so many people where you can learn the dynamicity of peers. You have freedom of expression to the maximum extent. It was a great experience at here solutions, i have enjoyed working everyday. I have got many opportunities to prove myself , various activities programs events happens very often one can involve and get recognized. With work it has great culture. I personally have got best project leader and teammates they were very supportive, specially if you are new. There is no much work pressure. I have learned lot of new things, they online courses, classroom trainings and more to learn and grow yourself. The Job for GIS analyst 1 is just to "edit" maps according to their specifications and decided requirements that's it. Likes are: 1. Open culture i.e you can approach any one anytime during your shift. But then the "corporate politics" kicks in and you are not heard at all. 2. Benefits are good like they give birthday allowance ofrs 1500 to the respective employee. And some other benefits as well...and then again..these are few of the many "tricks" of the company to make employee believe the he or she is taken care of but that's not true at all. 3. Casual clothing means Business casuals is what they prefer and that was the so far best thing i liked about the company that's all. 4. The have learning platforms such as Lynda.com to learn from then again the hypocrisy of the managers wont let you to make full use of it as in they need 6.5 hrs of effective hrs so you wont ever get time to make use of that. 5. People who join there at "HERE" are really great..... like 30% of them really are. Remaining 70% you wouldn't wanna try and know them at all. 6. They have recreational facilities like rumpus rooms where you can just relax and chill out but only if your pl/manager approves it that too only for 10 to 20 mins max which is nearly impossible because they don't want you "relaxing" and losing their productivity....Read More

What I dislike about HERE is actually HERE itself. Worst x 100 place to work if you wanna do something in your life in context with your career. Especially if you're from a technical background/I.T. People just come here as an "option" or a "meanwhile I find another job" attitude which is very much understandable because the work wedo is as simple and boring as "MS paint". You just have to edit(which they call as 'coding') according to their specs that's all. Its technically a support job which too pays very less.
