The only good thing about the Gus education is shift timings and weekoffs. Salary will get credited on time. Apart from that nothing is good about this organisation.
Especially in U Law, the manager Lanka and TL Cyril will treat you as if you are working under them. Micro management at its peaks. Central HR is good for nothing. Finally if you want to work for salary, you can opt this. Don't expect any promotion or growth here. For every little thing they will issue warning letter so that they can skip hike for that particular year. Only leaders health will be considered and they can work from home. Worklife Balance is something impeccable at GEI. Annual promotions are good too.
If you're in management, make sure you're on good terms with Dr. Jose and Anton, the deputy CEO. They don't tolerate disagreement. I was surprised to learn that at GEI, they can decide not to hire someone if the departing employee doesn't accept the retention efforts, even if you complete the entire notice period. Good work life balance but many senior take adavntage of their positions. Management is not aware of it and its fifficult for an individual to voice out. Salary is satisfying. Work life balance is well maintained.

worst place to work. job security is a flag My challenge to the management about hr surya to be assessed on his communication skills with any tool available in the market where he can't even score A2 level out of A1-C2 in English proficiency as A1 is default for 5th or 6th standard student. There are standards to maintain, here I don't think so. This guy always a big time poker player(in office hours as well) who troubles my friend also ex colleague of GUS by asking money to lend all the time. He can't talk without adding "na", Telugu word for every word & sentence spoken in English. There were images circulated around what's app chats with obscene images of hr surya about his financial frauds & illicit transactions done also being a defaulter for a lot of loan apps where he took money from? gus have such people who are face for organisation as HR. what do you expect more? What a shame? These are not allegations, these are facts & truth spoken as it's high time to investigate even covid-19 had cure but this guy is contagious for GUS reputation being at stake. hr surya is safe till date because this guy is supported by lady hr vidya as both from andhra region, this lady is another PLAGUE for gus education all these years along No ethics, No self respect, no Values & nothing if such people still in this organisation...Read More

Had to leave a review because of the line of questioning by HR. Asked for my PAN card number before the interview process which I flat out refused to provide. This is for all the folks out there, never share your personal information with these MNCs as they harvest data. Always be mindful about your personal data like DOB and PAN number and do not share such information with any recruiter unless they first provide you with an offer letter first. There is nothing much except salary on time & pick-and-drop facility.
Unfortunately, my experience at GUS Education India - Hyderabad Office, has been deeply disappointing due to systematic favouritism within the organization. The management's preferential treatment towards employees from the local community, especially towards the people from Telangana, is blatantly evident. This bias extends to promotions, salary hikes, and performance ratings. Despite consistent hard work and good performance reviews throughout the year, employees who are not from Telangana or who do not belong to the Telugu-speaking community find it nearly impossible to advance in their careers here. Merit and contributions seem to take a backseat to personal connections, favouritism and cultural affiliations, undermining the organizations claims of providing equal opportunities. The situation has worsened in the last few years, especially since the new HR head joined, with many talented individuals leaving the company over the past two years due to the discriminatory environment. It's baffling how "GUS Education India - Hyderabad" continues to claim the title of a "Great Place To Work" while failing to ensure fair treatment and inclusivity for all employees. Most notably, "GUS" demonstrates inconsistencies in compensation practices by offering varying pay packages to individuals in identical designations. These discrepancies occur regardless of prior experience or current salary. Locals tend to receive higher compensation packages, while candidates from outside the regions are often offered lower pay, highlighting a disparity in treatment. If you are considering joining this company and are not from the local community, I would strongly recommend thinking twice. A workplace should value diversity and merit.
