I had been to the interview with this organisation and forget about the hike when I disclosed my CTC. The recruitment manager raised her eye browse. When I asked a basic joke of 10% they kept me on hold. And I never got the feedback. After 2 weeks of followup the result is they are still on the hunt for candidates. If the company is still not able to hire a recruitment executive in a weeks time. How do you expect you to have your recruitment career up there. So dear jobseeker. Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
