The work culture is inclusive and open. No senior management personnel shows status consciousness. The culture is open and free.

Dislikes

The company spends too much money and energy in speak up investigations. Objective of the company is undoubtedly good. However, in an attempt to establish integrity and satisfy the complainant, the process and people demotivate the innocent employees. It is obvious from several cases that the disgruntled employees use E&C forum to harass senior officers of the company without revealing their identity and this is permissible in GSK. Also, some investigating officers - especially from India - need retraining in conducting investigations. Secondly, I have experienced, in matrix reporting, the employee is a sufferer as their efforts and results don't get due attention and recognition. One needs to be absolutely self motivated in matrix set up because they have work without adequate merit increase, reward and recognition. Thirdly, the Talent Management process needs to be robust.
