I see people ranting about WFH here. But one thing I like about working at Fingent is that policy on WFH has always been clear. Available for special situations ( sick parents, children), but all else are transitioning back to RTO. Managers, HR and even the CEO of the company has communicated this. Mainly the benefits - good responsibilities, salary, flexibility, work culture, project approach. People focused- no pandemic layoffs or salary cuts.

They have the challenges of growing companies. Opportunities also.

Unlike where I worked before, management and hr communicates and engages with people much more. Even during COVID 19, when we are wfh. Investment in learning through internal projects in tech like in AI, RPA etc.

Dislikes

While most people are team players, some are trapped in their own bubble. In the COVID situation with wfh, motivating oneself is important.

Work Details

I work in PMO in a PM role. Our approach to project work is different. Think design thinking mixed with traditional PM and BA. This is interesting. Very smart team and a good client make it easy to focus.

The work culture is very good as compared to most IT companies. They treat people as human beings and not resources. Good exposure to customers. Good consistent salary appraisals. Even in lean years the company gave hikes to good performers.

Dislikes

Working from home is available, but needs approval from the manager and HR.
