On rare occasions may have a new manager from a different cultural background with many big untested ideas that he/she may be considering opting to implement in a hurry without weighing its pros and cons. This happens more so as the individual feels insecure and has come in by selling big ideas and committed to demonstrate his/her mettle. At times dissenting views offered by you to your immediate superior may not bode well for your own career progression. But of course this is true for a superior who either has not experienced the FedEx culture enough or has no clue on the values that FedEx stands for<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. However, because of transparency and equal opportunity culture you have a voice and management will make a course correction once they are provided visibility</mark>. The strong processes are facilitators to make objectives meet for every such circumstances. Change management at FedEx is a well thought of process that involves patience, discussions at various levels, analytics and assessment of benefits that would accrue in the short and long term with well drawn timelines.
