Not a single reason to like about Mumbai based eKCS company.

I gave four rounds of interviews for parmanent night shift job; two HR rounds, one with VP, one with two Design Leads. After clearing all the rounds. They ask me to buy TWO high speed internet connections and one invertor before joining day and I did the same by spending 22k for these things. WHY I DISLIKE EKCS: 1. 48 hrs weekly night shift excluding break hours. In 10 hrs night shift you can't take break. 2. Two off days mentioned in Appointment letter, but also mentioned that they can ask you for duty (duty on call like Army) on your weekly off days too, means you cannot make any plan for fixed weekly off days with your family. 3. Only 8 holidays in a year. There is no Independence Day, Republic Day, Eid, Holi, Diwali & other holidays for production employees, but HR, Admin & corporate persons will enjoy Indian holidays. 4. No bonus policy mentioned in Appointment letter so you can't ask manager or expect from company. 5. No increments. Same reason as mentioned in #4. 6. HR, Design Leads are completely unprofessional and only God knows how current employees bearing them. They don't have justification for any questions. They feel insult and can fire you. 7. Notice period different for different level of employees e.g., 1 month notice for interns (be alert before joining this company), 3 months notice for TLs, Managers. Not sure about HR, Admin notice periods. 8. Spend money first to get job in this company. Company will ask you to buy invertor which can run Laptop, internet, 24 inch monitor, UPS and also buy two 100mpbs speed internet connection before joining. I joined this company on 1st June 2022 and immediately resigned on 7th June after receiving appointment letter and came to know about their hidden policies as mentioned above. Till 15th July, 2022 (45 days), I haven't received my reimburse amount of internet and invertor as well as 3.5 days salary. Now labour court will give lesson to auch companies who think that they're hiring a slave or puppet who will be ready for them anytime, any day, in any condition. Loved the work environment. Respect for Rakesh Sir, Mohit Sir, Abhishek Sir and many Seniors we don't yet know, as they were our Design leads/Seniors and ignored the mistakes we made often did in the Design/Animation work and uplifted us. There is another team that works on the static designs and Animation section ( Scripts ) but she cross checks the work multiple times, till she finds it perfect, as the ( Head of the design team ) from her perspective. HR department is amazing, they work hard online when it's connecting all together and having a good time on discussion. Appreciate how the management supports financially when a person is in need. They celebrate Birthdays, encourage online and ample of activities are taken online until it's work from home, as it's today.
