The manager was very supportive and the work life balance was good.

Dislikes

The unnecessary pressure to work from office and the unsupportive rude behaviour of the HR. There was nothing given above and beyond the salary not even box of sweets on small occasions. All the team outings and activities were self sponsored.

No one is supporting.even reporting person also not support. While joining said you need to work from home no need to come in office, after few days said u need to report daily basis in office. It's very pathetic service and lot's of work pressure here.

The whole manager group works on the mentality of working 2r hours for the company. They do not want people to have their personal lives and will push people out of the organization who try to bring a positive change or voice their opinions about the horrible management.

The management is relaxed in terms of granting the leaves even if it is unplanned. No one disturbs during off time and after office hours. People are around to provide helping hand whenever stuck. Hikes and bonus is better than most companies around.

Dislikes

Lesser projects with better technologies and lesser growth opportunities in terms of tech stack. Many legacy applications are still operative which requires people to work on legacy technologies.

Mediocre people in middle management making junior staff suffer at whims and fancies. They look the team members bad in front of top management so that they can shine and hide their mediocrity. It is a foreign MNC but, in reality boasting high standards of employee friendliness but, in reality, the policies that may help the employees are not effective on the ground but generate an effect entirely opposite to what thise polocies suggest. EY GDS culture is worst, too much office politics, poor leadership and management. These days they are hiring leaders from call centre and banks who does not have any experience into consulting and proper corporate culture. They are coming with a bad mindset of micro managing and dominating nature. Specially the people from Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon are worst.

It depends on which entity you join I am working for EY India LLP tech consulting and 3 years been great. Culture and work life balance is great. Make sure to work and always get good client feedback. Work from home for eligible employees whos working great at client place. Outings, management events , offsite everything is good.

Dislikes

They don’t have rule of hire and fire like other service companies, but it’s good if you have a project always. Avoid being on bench. Only bad part is no cab facility.

Lot of free courses will be offered but this has to be done apart from the 11 to 12 hours of work. So nothing much to say as positives.

All ey cares about is the billing from clients they have no concern about the employees or their development. Client companies choose ey services because they have no backbone they bend to an extent to agree all the request placed by clients.

Just the initial salary hike. Everything else was super toxic. Even the initial salary hike was compensated by pathetic appraisals and low salary hike in the next 2 years.
