Hybrid culture no one cares about your login time, got to work with client directly lot of leaves at (least for our team)

Work life balance is good in core business services domain. If you got good manager you will really enjoy working here.Most of managers are really good, few are really amazing.

Dislikes

Few managers/supervisor are very rude, they will behave like they are king/queen of the world. And people reporting to them are their slave. They will keep finding reason to poke you, they will make you beg for leaves as well. God forbid if you request for wfh arrangement for a week or 2.

It's all about quantity of billable hours. Slavery is popular & appreciated. Human quotient is absent. Any different approach or idea is condemned. Engineers & non-accounting grads too are hired for accounting jobs. No SOP in place.

Ey has dead work culture the teams which I am part of . Like there is barely any team grouping. Individuals are least bothered about networking. Few seniors and managers have ego issues, they don't like reverse feedbacks. They push all their blames to junior staffs and take credit of all the good work being done by staff. It depends on which entity you join I am working for EY India LLP tech consulting and 3 years been great. Culture and work life balance is great. Make sure to work and always get good client feedback. Work from home for eligible employees whos working great at client place. Outings, management events , offsite everything is good.

Dislikes

They don’t have rule of hire and fire like other service companies, but it’s good if you have a project always. Avoid being on bench. Only bad part is no cab facility.

Lot of free courses will be offered but this has to be done apart from the 11 to 12 hours of work. So nothing much to say as positives.

All ey cares about is the billing from clients they have no concern about the employees or their development. Client companies choose ey services because they have no backbone they bend to an extent to agree all the request placed by clients.

Just the initial salary hike. Everything else was super toxic. Even the initial salary hike was compensated by pathetic appraisals and low salary hike in the next 2 years.

There cost cut plan. No cabs for day time. Heavy target for agents. No concern on work life balance. Asking to login on weekends without any OT. workstation are too congested. No personal request are addressed from management. No proper training or time to learn the process(except few American projects).
