Very toxic work culture.Most new hires and managers are from service based companies.Promotions and hikes are very unfair and specially anyone working in data science don’t join this company.Here managers and architects don’t have any knowledge on data science they started working on gen ai and join this org and created there dependency. Very toxic company .Joining this company specially GenAI team is the nightmare decision. Managers and favourates got 2-3 promotions (skip promotions) and others dont get anything.They just force you to work for late nights and take whole credit....Read More

Politics, Politics & More Politics. Senior Management is worst here. LCCI (India Office) culture is very different (worst) compared to LCC (US Office). You can survive here if you are a bootlicker OR if you are ignorant/careless about your career/health. "No Retaliation Policy" is a joke here. Especially in LRL Tech@Lilly, all the leaders have their internal understanding wrt politics. They will play with your career here. PLEASE DON'T JOIN THIS FIRM (For India Office.) This organisation is a prime example of how lackluster managers can create a toxic and demotivating work environment. There is no to little career progression. The decision making is completely held from the US team. This has been the most toxic workplace I have ever worked at.

The culture has become toxic because of the wrong leaders. Politics are now a part of this Lilly culture. Somebody seriously need to look into it as insecure leaders surround themselves with ‘yes people’. They won’t like if any challenging person will come to their circle.

The salary and benefits are good. It is also a con since once you are in that salary range there are no other companies outside lilly willing to give you the expected salary.

Dislikes

They promote culture so much but in reality the upper management do not follow what they preach. There is retaliation if you raise concerns. They do not take action on survey feedback. Promotion goes to only people who talk aimlessly and not to the people who actually put in the work. The upper management will take the credit for your work. Recognition is some teams is almost nil. 1. There is lack of work life balance, with little flexibility between projects, making it difficult for career growth. 2. Instructional Designers are either overworked or undervalued. 3. The environment is toxic with internal politics affecting the team dynamics. 4. Poor project management and planning 5. Quality checks are done for Storyboards rather than the final product 6.
