Always changing manager and very often reorganise the structure. I got 4 managers in 6 years. New manager dont know much about his own role and you. He depends on previous manager's feedback for your evaluation. If you show your achievements still he can not able to put your candidature in front of sr management for promotion. They ask for different certifications for your promotion which they didn't mentioned in any of the internal documents in written nor they told you at the time of recruitment. Even if you are exceeding the responsibilities in the current designation still they dont offer you promotions in the name of certifications. Give promotions and decent increments to new people just to maintain iteration rate below target but didn't care about old employees for that matter. No standars processes set. Very few days I worked for 9-6 time, most of the time it exceeds upto midnight. Managers aren't aware of scope of work or the actual content in the task, so they commit false timeline and then engineers have to stretched. And due to this when deliverable timelines misses they questions your capability. They didn't questionedyour credibility when you have delivered 15 odd programmes earlier. There is groupism in the teams, if you are of their mentality then you get appreciated otherwise they remember you only at the time of work. They call themselves 'one eaton' but there are different unwritten rules for different teams which are keep on changing with changing managers or sr managers. I learned on job by myself. No one had given any trainjng to me. Because of good brand value eaton get good projects from market so you get chance to work on many good programs.
