Working in DISQ helped in grow in more of a creative way. Working with designers helped me in learning the modern design approach to problems which is really good. Also, learned a few things about starting a business and risks involved in it.

Dislikes

Sometimes the reviewers lacked the technical knowledge which creates a huge barrier when it comes to support from them. Further the compensation is way too low to survive in the long term. May get cancerous at times. Also, I wasn't appreciated for my work at all.

Work Details

I developed a lot of mobile applications and websites for different teams during my stay there. It got super hectic at times but at times it was really fun. So I can say perfectly balanced as all things should be.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
