I think the flexibility that Deloitte offers is amazing and as an employee, I am free to work from wherever I want to, and there is no micro management. The team is very professional and there is not much hierarchy.

Dislikes

The salary paid by Deloitte is not commensurate to the work. Appraisal, especially at Deloitte, India are not up to the mark and overall I believe you are underpaid significantly at Deloitte.

Hike and promotions. They prefer outsiders with improved designation for same experience rather promoting internal employees, but can't complain as if one has skills he/she can get into any other well known brand or product companies. So no need to stay if one feels like left behind.

- my initial 1.5 years was great because of my project later my project changed and the working hours extended. long working hours as 12 to 15hrs per day. -Did not got promoted even after my performance was good. -Late night calls

Risk Advisory is really a good role to be in. You will learn a good good deal. Highly recommend.

I know how work pressure is perceived to be in Big4s but to be honest in my function (Risk Advisory), it was not bad, see there would be months when you would be completely occupied and working round the clock but there would also be months where you would spent time relaxed working from the place you want.

The promotions are deferred by giving BS reasons. The work will never make you satisfied and your overall performance will majorly depend on the people managing you.
