Higher management concentrating on the employees well being and trying to give a better work life balance

Dislikes

Even though the higher management fosters for better support. At the micro level there is a disconnect between the team members especially between the lateral hires and seasoned folks. The seasoned folks don’t provide a in detail training session or KT. This impacts the performance of the lateral hires. At times the seasoned folks try to boss around whereas the management isn’t bossing around.

There is no support from Deloitte during this COVID-19 situation, Deloitte is laying off people without any proper reason. Most of the seniors have requested the leadership for a pay cut and not to lay off people. However, deloitte doesn't care and they have laid off many experienced, smart and amazing hardworking people.

Only your skill set is not enough to survive in Deloitte, you have to search for projects on your own to keep yourself busy with work. They are good when time is good. Deloite is the worst among all big4s during this pandemic. And there is no proper time for your work. People work for 16-17 hours and still gets laid off.

Leave the growing opportunity aside, we were asked to leave the company at the worst time possible globally. This comes from a company which is widely known for growth, prosperity and employee care. There was no option for a lower pay or pay cut, straight we were asked to leave.
