There are few things like hybrid working model, you can work from any Deloitte office within the country and its completely dependents on the client's ask.

Dislikes

Deloitte India, has not touched the bar of USI. Partners are not approachable, they think that they're GOD! Evening this decided by the partners, doesn't matter what's their in your KPI's. There is no transparent process for appraisal or any other things.

Good work life, No questions on taking leaves. Job security is good if you have above average performance. Salary hike depends on project to project. Best part is bonus payout is mostly more than 100%

Poor promotion policy. Taking promotion is next to impossible here, only lucky people get promoted. Work life completely depends on project.

Risk Advisory is really a good role to be in. You will learn a good good deal. Highly recommend.

I know how work pressure is perceived to be in Big4s but to be honest in my function (Risk Advisory), it was not bad, see there would be months when you would be completely occupied and working round the clock but there would also be months where you would spent time relaxed working from the place you want.

The firm provides good job security and a hectic work schedule for some folks and a very sedentry schedule for others.

Dislikes

The promotions are deferred by giving BS reasons. The work will never make you satisfied and your overall performance will majorly depend on the people managing you. Moreover, you cannot choose to work on what would actually align to your desirablilty. It will be based on what they have a demand for.

Work culture in External Audit - analyst have to work with Engagement Team (CA team) for audit and not every ET is good, some ET are horrible they don't even allow WFH and give any work which analysts are not supposed to do. 2. The issue for time booking and utilisation. If your Team don't have much projects there will be problem of low utilisation, which is considered at the time of your appraisal. 3. If analyst deployed to any client then everything will be according to Engagement team. Even the promotion is also in their hands so you have to maintain good relationship with them (which is difficult because of their useless CA attitude) 4. Cafeteria is not good. Very few options are available which tastes average. 5.
