Politics, Pathetic Work life Balance, No Job Security, They can put you in plan for job reason. During peak season, you will be working for 7days a week. The culture has become toxic over the time. Everybody knows about the politics and who are involved. VP know what is happening, Cluster Leader is herself involved in this, Managersknow what is happening. Managers are pressurized to keep people on plan despite of good work. They will will take you in your team and keep you there because your work is good and give you bad ratings. Full of politics. No promotion for worthful person. Promotion first preference will be given to person who create a show infront of managers. Example:-Unnecessary perks in terms of yearly well being by asking to buy some products instead if they give that amount in yearly bonus or hike that would more worthy to employees. When we try to discuss regarding the work which we done in the year then they start some cinematic story. Your salary is already high or outside market is done. The Peeple, The culture, The leadership visits with free food :), Work satisfaction at least in finance teams, and Occasional ethnic wear :), these all make the Deloitte best. However, I know the culture may vary from team to team, but if you are able to find a good team, you are all sorted.

The hikes are not that good, and last year bonus was also not that great.. Hope this will improve in coming years.

Good work life, No questions on taking leaves. Job security is good if you have above average performance. Salary hike depends on project to project. Best part is bonus payout is mostly more than 100%

Risk Advisory is really a good role to be in. You will learn a good good deal. Highly recommend.

I know how work pressure is perceived to be in Big4s but to be honest in my function (Risk Advisory), it was not bad, see there would be months when you would be completely occupied and working round the clock but there would also be months where you would spent time relaxed working from the place you want.

The firm provides good job security and a hectic work schedule for some folks and a very sedentry schedule for others.

Dislikes

The promotions are deferred by giving BS reasons. The work will never make you satisfied and your overall performance will majorly depend on the people managing you. Moreover, you cannot choose to work on what would actually align to your desirablilty. It will be based on what they have a demand for.

Great infrastructure and talented pool of people. Better than other consulting firms interms of payscale and promotions.

Dislikes

Most young and talented engineers sometimes misused and overworked in the name of client expectations and unnecessary meetings. Management is so old school and completely out of place considering the modern technologies and the growth of AI.
