Has a toxic work culture full of insecure people. Your recognition is based on how much extra hours, weekends and holidays you dedicate working here. Comp off for the extra hours worked is mostly nonexistent. There is no place here for people who work efficiently and complete work on time. You have to be available anytime managers ask you to work, if you respond negatively then they will have grudge on you for the rest of your tenure in this company. Managers lack project estimation and management skills due to which developers have to suffer. This company also use outdated technologies and follow legacy process to implement projects, so there is no scope for improving technical skills as well. HR department here is there for namesake and they don't trust junior resources and developers. They always take side of managers, so no use of expressing your concerns to HR department. You also don't get facilities and perks like parental health insurance. Join this company only if you are too much desperate to get a job, otherwise have some patience and look elsewhere, there are many good firms compared to this company....Read More

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1.
