I worked as an Intern at CII Center in Bhopal. It wasn't like a meaningful, knowledgeable internship what I expected it to be. We were a bunch of people working as a telecaller for promotion of several events to making the MS Excel database by just adding rows and columns. Also, the best thing we did there as interns was attending the seminars and working on the registration desk. So, it wasn't the one with which you can acquire the core skills. However, it helped me a lot in terms of polishing my telephonic, written and verbal communication. Then, my confidence was boosted for sure to enter into the corporate world which is punctual, result driven, and pressurizing too! It was a complete 10 to 6, 30 days internship with no stipend in hand. So, that's surely bad! As we deserved something but never mind! Altogether, I won't recommend Confederation of Indian Industry as a place for internship as its more like exploitative in nature with pretty limited scope of growth and learning. And yes, even if you are there and giving 110% just to impress the boss and other to get Pre-Placement Offer then, it doesn't happen....Read More
