Dislikes

Extended working hours on almost daily basis. Sincere employees are overburdened with work while the insincere ones just enjoy. No time for self learning due to long working hours. Appraisal is based on office politics and not credibility.

There are learning and development opportunities via udemy and internal platforms but the team management doesn't provide time to utilise the same.

This openion limited to Staff Augmentation vertical - 10 hrs work culture takes 12 hrs to satisfy the unrealistic expectations and poorly managed processes. Too many unfair and biased approach by almost all TLs TMs and SDMs. If you are an outsider for positions beyond SPE you wouldn't be welcomed and treated well, tenured and competitors in the org will sabotage your growth.

Management is not organised and they did not give me training only few docs and asked me to go thru but they didn't even give me time

Overall typical service based company, with lower appraisal %, ideal to stay for 3 years max, else growth would be stopped compared to market and you will be in comfort zone.

Appraisal cycle is worst, they do rating in Dec month and release in Jan, but appraisal will be in impact from June salary. Promotion is a problem here, and you will have to cry every year. It takes minimum 3 years once u r at one level to expect promotion.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.

The cognizant H4 building company dose not take you for an outing. They only have annual yearly party Organized for perticular projects. I had been worked in cognizant for almost 2.9 years. Overall it was good to work with cognizant , up and downs were there but during my bench period I learned too many technologies that help me to grow in personal and professional growth thankful that cognizant have free Udemy access however each and everyone can learn the new technologies.

There's lots of opportunities to grow and get skilled in latest technologies. Certification opportunities and widely available. Work Life balance vary from project to project.

Dislikes

Even though the fixed components are higher than many companies, it's quite less compared to many leading it giants. The yearly increment is very less and it's zero to none for freshers. Appraisal of 5 star rating is almost never given even after going above and beyond expectations. You'll be compensated with bare minimum cheer points.

Nothing I liked. One of the torcher organisation. Making people to commit Suicide with their behaviour. No support from anyone.

One of the worst organisation I have worked in my entire life. With no good faculty no work support. Making human torcher with their work. Mis-using of all leads. There is no person who is ready to listen to agents. If we do anything or not it's completely comes under our fault. If you don't know anything if you ask its your fault.
